“I grew up in a middle class family, in a neighborhood that was bordered on one side by large homes on ‘the bluff’ with kids that had all the advantages, and on the other side were kids that lived in ‘the projects’.  All the kids went to the same school, and were pretty much the same. I noticed that the kids from the bluff had more advantages, that afforded them more opportunities and a better outlook for their life ahead.

…There are a lot of exceptional kids with great parents that just don’t happen to live on the bluff. It’s not the kid’s fault. If I could provide them just one advantage, it would give them an extra step up in life.”

Welmon is a closely held, not-for-profit company, where time and financial resources are directed to carefully curated needs.  We are a streamlined, agile company with minimal administrative costs.

Our efforts are directed to specific advantages that will make a long term difference in the lives of young people. We are not currently accepting requests for projects or grants.  We appreciate offers for monetary donations but request that you contact us to discuss specifically your vision for how the resources will be used. If you have the desire to volunteer towards a future project in the Vancouver/Clark County area, you are welcome to send us your information.  Thank you
